Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled QuickBooks Specialist to join our team. As a QuickBooks Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, extensive experience with QuickBooks software, and exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain the company’s financial records using QuickBooks software.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  3. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  4. Generate and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
  5. Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  6. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a QuickBooks Specialist or similar role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Proficient in using QuickBooks software, including advanced features such as payroll processing and financial reporting.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  9. Familiarity with tax regulations and experience in preparing tax returns is preferred.
  10. Professional certifications such as Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Certified Bookkeeper are a plus.
